Women who don’t wear hijab are often accused of being bad women. The
accusation is certainly countered with an expression that more or less mentions
that women who wear the hijab are not all good, many are naughty and even
commit immorality. To mediate on that, I would say that hijab is just a
garment, just a piece of cloth. So, wearing hijab or not is not the benchmark
that declares a woman to be good or not.
Let’s talk about differences in geography. In some country, men are not really interested in women. They tend to favor things like war, trade, art, or something else. Therefore, the customs and religions of the area only instruct the women to cover their attention-grabbing "assets". In that place, hair is not something that should be covered so they don't recognize hijab.
Meanwhile, on another country, men are very passionate about women. Any
woman they think is beautiful will be kidnapped, touched, raped, tasted, you
name it. So, local customs and the religion revealed in the area are very
strict in regulating women's clothing from hijab, cadar, long sleeves, and all
of that thing. The function is self-protection and prevention of lewd acts. If
it suits you, wear it. If you feel your place is safe, then don't wear it and
don't insult. That's it just like that.
So, the point of this article is NOT for asking Muslim women, nuns, or any of you who wear hijab to take it off. Rather, I am asking all of you not to judge a woman just by wearing hijab or not.
